Day 17: Peppermint Amour

Hello tea lovers!

As many of our loyal fans will know, our December morning routine usually involves Stacey getting up early to turn the kettle on and Brooke following suite once she hears Stacey shuffling around the apartment. But alas, this morning the whistle of the kettle didn’t act as a wake up call for Brooke. Afraid she would be late for work and not wanting to wake up her roomie, Stacey opened the door for Day 17 and this is what she found:

Tea: Peppermint Amour

Peppermint Amour (organic) from DAVIDsTEA

Description: Peppermint is said to enhance your dreams. It’s also said to stimulate passion and creativity. Not to mention its fresh, cool flavour and aroma. This peppermint tea is organic, for great taste and good karma. We didn’t want to compromise when each cup has so much potential to enhance your life.

Ingredients: Organic peppermint leaves from Oregon state.

Steeping Instructions: 1.25 tsp, 96°C, 30-60 seconds (Whoa, that’s a concentrated tea!)

A little later in the day the two were still able to discuss the tea a little via text:

Brooke: Weird, your shuffles didn’t wake me up today!
Stacey: Yeah, I was wondering if I should have woken you up. What are you thoughts on the tea?
Brooke: I haven’t had it yet, but I think I’m going to have in the afternoon at work.
Stacey: Good plan! It’s supposed to enhance creativity…or something to that effect.
Brooke: Ohohoh! Merry fishmas! That’s as creative as I can get with my thesis.
Stacey: Ha ha, oh Brooke you crack me up.

A little later that day:

Stacey: This tea tastes like straight up peppermint to me. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Tasty!
Brooke: Agreed! Not much to report here!

Tea Vibes

Using Stacey’s voice-type feature, here are our overall thoughts on today’s tea:

Stacey: York peppermint. Oh really good. Can probably get it a lot of places. It’s refreshing and it give me a little bit of focus during the day now and then. 9 and 10.

Brooke: Rock is dead again. So here’s what I think of your face. Pure peppermint tea, can probably get this at the local pc shop. 20th udo.

And there you have it, another one bites the dust! Only 7 teas left until Christmas everyone!

Until next tea,
Stacey and Brooke

All hail scissors and peppermint! Er, paper!
